Affiliations & Achievements
Often serving as day-to-day project manager, Nicole provides analysis, graphics, and strategic visioning. Her work at U3 Advisors has provided the opportunity to support community investment in a variety of forms, from overseeing the community outreach and re-tenanting of the landmark Memphis College of Art and Brooks Museum buildings in Memphis, to supporting the construction of a middle school in West Philadelphia with Drexel University, to transforming College Park, Maryland to a world-class college town with the Terrapin Development Company.
Growing up in Venezuela—and later on backpacking through South America, Central America, and Indonesia—embedded into Nicole the critical link between the development of the urban landscape and the outcome of its residents. Prior to joining the team, Nicole worked in Camden, New Jersey as an urban designer, focusing on activating public spaces in underserved communities through innovative placemaking strategies. Her work in the public sector with the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission and the NYC Department of City Planning further helps inform her work, giving her insight into the key challenges facing public entities. When not loving her job, Nicole spends her days playing with her two little boys, painting, and daydreaming about her next hike.
Nicole holds a BA in Sociology and Environmental Policy from the College of William and Mary, and received her Masters in Urban Planning from Columbia University.
