Nicholas Jerez
Vice President, New York Office
As a Vice President at U3 Advisors, Nick manages special projects critical to U3’s internal operation. Nick has worked at U3 over a decade, with broad experience in every facet of the company’s operations and working in support of its growth. During his tenure, Nick has served on project teams for Cornell Tech, Columbia University, the City of Carlsbad and the District of Columbia, as administrator for U3’s New York office, and led or facilitated various recruitment and internal team development efforts. Currently, Nick leverages his combination of strategic and contextual strengths – where U3 has been and how it may continue to grow – as U3’s head of technology while also serving as a senior resource to U3’s next generation of project managers.
In addition to his work at U3, Nick has deep experience in providing direct social services to at-risk youth and children with physical developmental disabilities through his seven years in various program management positions with Children’s Aid, a New York-based nonprofit providing comprehensive supports to children, youth, and their families. Nick has also served as a Member, Secretary, and Chair of the Development Committee, of the Board of Directors of Birch Family Services, a nonprofit on the front lines of supporting more than 2,000 individuals with Autism and their families throughout New York City. Nick currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Cooke School and Institute, a New York-based independent school serving children with special needs which also trains educators to elevate outcomes in general and special education. Nick also works with individuals, teams and managers outside U3 as a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach, helping them to channel their strengths to improve their quality of life inside and outside of work. As the proud parent of neurodiverse children, Nick’s commitment to building a world where people of all abilities can live their fullest lives is the through line in all he does.
Nick is a life-long New Yorker, a product of New York City public schools, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.
