Teach for America
U3A was engaged by Teach for America to assist in the development of a real estate plan for its national headquarters office in Manhattan. Based on TFA's anticipated space needs and its vision for its headquarters, U3A helped TFA to define and analyze various purchase and lease options. Each option was analyzed relative to location, cost, and timing, as well as how each might express TFA's mission and core values. U3A also helped TFA to select a broker via competitive process. We drafted a Request for Proposals document and provided support in the analysis and comparison of proposals, interviewing brokers, and formulating evaluation criteria. TFA moved into its new headquarters in Lower Manhattan in 2014.
