Jillian joined U3 Advisors in the Summer of 2019 after several years of experience as a real estate development consultant. She offers expertise in economic development policy, strategic planning, real estate development, and project management.
Prior to joining U3 Advisors, Jillian worked with several planning and development consulting firms on over thirty engagements in some of the fastest growing metropolitan regions of the US. She served as a pre-development project manager for two private, New York-based residential redevelopment and construction firms. She recently assisted Texas A&M University-Galveston in establishing a project management office for several multi-year research projects at the leading edge of technology-based resiliency planning using machine learning and probabilistic mapping tools tomitigate impacts of historic flooding events across Texas. For five years she served as a project manager for Pegasus Planning & Development, a leading economic development planning consulting firm based in Austin, Texas. While with Pegasus she served dozens of clients ranging from higher education institutions, economic development corporations, chambers of commerce, municipalities and private developers on regional to district level market research, revitalization and economic development strategy initiatives.
Jillian received Bachelor of Arts degrees in both English and Cultural Anthropology from The University of Texas at Austin, where she graduated with honors. She received her Master of Urban Planning from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service. While at Wagner she received a research scholarship and internship with the United Nations Development Programme and served as a research associate for The World Bank Office of International Migration.
